UPDATE: 2.11.10 - We are back in full swing and getting ready to perhaps record a song with Chris Cugini at Appleman Studio in March for both shits and giggles. It will be available on iTunes. We are also playing at Church on 3.6.10 with some old friends, come out and help celebrate Scott L's B'day.

Update: 9.17.09 - Thanks to everyone for coming out to our CD Release Party a couple of weeks ago. We had an amazing time! The CD is available on line at iTuens or Amazon.com. We will also have discs available in most Newbury Comics Locations soon.
Update: 8.8.09 - CD RELEASE PARTY!! Please join us for the release of our debut disc, All Orbits Are Free on Belhaven Records. 9.4.09 at The Precinct in Somerville with The Airport and special guests.
Update: 8.1.09: The Crushing Low will be playing 2 shows this week. First in Worcester on Thursday 8.6.09 at The Lucky Dog Music Hall and then on Friday night at P.A.'s Lounge in Somerville. Our CD Release Party is taking shape and we'll release details very soon.
Update: 7.20.09: The Crushing Low is lucky enougfh to be invited to participate in Provincetown Rocks: The Festival! The festival begins this Wednesday, July, 22nd and runs through Sunday, July 26th. It features over 200 bands performing in 15 different venues in Provincetown, MA. Tickets are available for a single show or the entire festival click here! The Crushing Low will be performing on Saturday, July 25th at 9:30PM at Good Times, 293 Commercial St. Provincetown, MA. We are playing with some outstanding acts including: Conservative Man, Mid Atlantic and The Luxury.

Update: 3.15.09 - The disc is off to be mastered and we finally have a title: All Orbits Are Free. We are working on the details for our CD Release Party and we'lll have info updated soon. Thanks for everyone's past support - we realy hope that you enjoy the disc once it's released. release should be sometime in late May or early June. We will have clips available on our website and myspace page.
Update: 3.2.09 - The band is finished with the disc! We are just touching up some mixes and then it's off to mastering. We are planning a CD Release party for mid-May or early June.More on that fun later. CAtch us at Millly's Tavern in Manchester, NH on March 7th.
Update: 2.18.09 - We are done tracking our debut disc. On to mixing in late February. The band is very excited with the results so far and we can't wait to unleash it to everyone. Planned release is early May with a CD Release party in the works. Stay tuned for more.
Update 1.21.09 - The Crushing Low will be featured on Boston Garage Bands.com. This new website focuses on local bands and is available via pocast. We will be doing an interview on 1.28.09 that will be uploaded to the www.bostongaragebands.com website.
Update 1.17.09 - Well, we finally start recording on February 5th with Chris McLaughlin at 1867 Studios in Chelsea. No shows until 2.28.09 as we get ready. Please join us at the Cantab for our first show back.

Update: 12.19.08 - Our next show isn't until next year on January 7th at Great Scott in Allston, MA. Until then, we are hard at work on pre-production for our debut cd/ep. The disc will include 6 songs and we've finally settled on the songs: Underwater Moon, Kid Nova, Home from the Clouds, Dead Man's Hands, 40 Miles 'til Detroit and Divided Skies. We've decided on Producer Chris McLaughlin (Township, Aberdeen City, Polar Baron) of 1867 Recording Studio in Chelsea, MA. The main room was built in 1867 and was the former home of a Masonic Temple with massive 30 foot ceilings. Plans are to begin tracking in early February for a marathon 7 day stretch. We'll either kill each other and break up or have a disc that we can be proud of. If all things go as planned - which they never do - we should be ready to release the disc in Early to mid April.
